Objectives:

To reduce the energy usage rate at the same time increase economic growth

Facilitate the growth of the GT industry and enhance its contribution to the national economy

Increase national capability and capacity for innovation in GT development and enhance Malaysia competitiveness in GT in the global arena

Ensure sustainability development and conserve the environment for future generation and;

Enhance public education and awareness in GT and encourage its widespread use

Green Technology shall be a driver to accelerate the national economy and promote sustainable development.

Energy:
Seek to attain energy independence and promote efficient utilization;

Environment:
Conserve and minimize the impact on the environment;

Economy:
Enhance the national economic development through the use of technology; and

Social:
Improve the quality of life for all.
